I’m a singer, songwriter, and vocal artist originally from London, Ontario.
My sound blends R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, reggae, and old-school soul. I’ve always been drawn to music with feeling, rhythm, and honesty, inspired by artists like Erykah Badu, Buju Banton, and Mary J. Blige, and I bring that same mix of warmth, edge, and soul to everything I create.
My debut album, Deeper, included my first single “Agony,” featuring Elephant Man, and “Wine Me (2 Da Ground)”. Both received radio play across Canada, the UK, and the U.S., with “Wine Me” being included on Toronto’s Flow 93.5 FM’s Urban FlowCase CD. “Agony” went on to appear on multiple compilations, including Universal Records’ DanceHall Hits 2004, and was used by Diane von Furstenberg on the runway for her Spring 2006 collection. The album also found an international audience in Japan, where I signed a major distribution deal and shipped 10,000 copies.
Over the years, my music has reached audiences in ways I never could have predicted. In 2007, Nike used “Agony” on Nike.com, in stores worldwide, and as part of the Nike Rockstar Workout Mixtape, which included 400,000 promotional copies. My song “Rush,” produced by Grammy Awards Board of Governors member Dave O’Donnell, was featured in the Montreal International Hip-Hop Film Festival soundtrack and throughout Season One of VH1’s Can’t Get a Date. Three of my songs were also featured on BBC Radio’s A-Playlist, and my work has been recognized by The Fader and AllHipHop.com.
I was also invited to appear on “We Can Make It Better,” with A.R. Rahman and Mukhtar Sahota. Today, my creative work continues to live at the intersection of music, voice, performance, and storytelling, whether I’m singing, writing, recording, or bringing educational and family-focused media to life.
